Extract from Parish Council Meeting, as reported in the Newsletter, April 1984 .
The state of the footpaths, particularly those along Long Street. This will be taken up with the Highways Dep't. However it has been brought to the Council's attention that damage has been done to some verges where bulbs have been planted or which are newly seeded. Also, there has been some damage to tarmac drives. This damage has been caused by horses being ridden over these areas. Please do not destroy those verges, etc. that we have.
Parking problems on Eastgate. The parish Council is awaiting comments from the Highways Dep't.
