Christmas is coming, and just in time, we are pleased to announce the appointment of a superb top chef and his assistant to join the existing team, here in the Bosville restaurant.

Chris Hodson and his assistant, Anthony, used to run their own highly popular restaurant in Driffield. Before which, Chris was the head chef at the Manor in Fridaythorpe. With fifteen years of experience behind him, we are confident that he will bring an exciting new dimension to the already successful restaurant here at the Bosville.

Catherine, who has been working as head chef for the last few months, will still be active in and around the kitchen, but reducing her involvement, as the expected birth of her new child gets nearer. No doubt, Chris and Anthony will be creating their own menus, and by the time you read this, they will have been producing some top meals at the Bosville for you to try.

Just to remind you all that we are running a full programme of Christmas and New Year special menus, alongside the regular lunch time and evening menus already in place.   Individual and party menus to help you celebrate the festive season are now available.

As promised in the last newsletter, I now have the theme for the BIG New Years Eve event here at the Bosville. Fancy dress (optional) will take the theme of “Heroes and Villains,” with first, second and third prizes for the best outfits on the night. Also, just a quick reminder for you to get your place booked for the very popular New Years Eve buffet - a grand affair not to be missed.
