We shall be entering two teams in
the League on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. All players are
reminded that the practice of counting the one shot at each of the first
two ends (instead of playing trial ends) is not allowed in matches
played under the auspices of the DDBA.
I have a new copy of the DDBA Constitution and Rules, if anone would like to borrow this please contact me. There will be the usual Special General Meeting of Monday 4th April to elect Captains etc. and collect subscriptions for the 2005 season. This will be £15 per person as in the last few years, with a possibility of an increase in 2006. The venue for this event will be in the April newsletter. NEW MEMBERS are warmly welcomed and are invited to the above meeting. The first two games are free before you join us, to enable you to decide. We play Competitive bowls and lots of Friendlies, usually at the weekends. Wednesday we play social games between members, which are always very popular. Club bowls are available at no extra charge but flat shoes with no heels, must be worn. Trainers are not allowed. Please ring me or contact any club member for further information.
