I am deeply grateful for all the ‘get well’ cards and kind sentiments, flowers and visits I received after my operation and short stay in Scarborough Hospital, Oak Ward, Nov. 15th - 18th. I am now enjoying the comforts here.

RECYCLING

East Riding of Yorkshire Council say that your old Yellow Pages can be recycled via the paper bin at the Playing Field car park. The system has changed since the bin was sited and Yellow Pages are now acceptable so take them along. Please note that they should not be put in your blue recycling bins at home.

Please Note – This applies only to the Yellow Pages, and not to your normal domestic Phone Book.

We used to own the village shop. We now live in Cyprus and as there are a lot of folk we would like to send greetings to, what better way than through the village newsletter, so would you kindly put this greeting in your next one.
