Proceeds in Aid of Rudston Village Hall

Please come along and support this event as more funds are needed to complete our wonderful new Village Hall

Table Tennis comes to Rudston

As a result of a successful grant application to the Lottery Micro grants scheme, 3 table tennis tables, nets, posts, bats and balls will be purchased, once the village hall works are completed. If you are interested in playing table tennis, please contact Jane Crossley, Kiplington, Long Street, tel. 01262 420462. Hopefully, there will be a couple of sessions organised each week, starting on a regular basis in September. The results of the survey carried out for the Parish Plan, and the questionnaire about the village hall a few years ago, helped to secure the funding.

This item is reprinted from the March 2005 edition of the Newsletter. Jane pointed out that, in Crossland's column last month, Philip offered apologies to the Table Tennis Club if he had missed anything about the club in the Newsletter. Just to make sure that all are aware of the Club, we are including the article again in this month's edition. Ed.
