New extended opening hours and a new menu are introduced in the restaurant of the Bosville Arms Country Hotel. Starting on May bank holiday weekend, and throughout the summer, the restaurant at the Bosville will be open every lunch time and every evening.
The chef, Anthony, has extensively revamped both the lunchtime and evening menus. He has taken this opportunity to introduce some exciting new dishes whilst retaining many of the most popular favourites, and re-introducing some of the greats from previous menus.
Back on the starters menu is the very popular black pudding and bacon stack with whole grain mustard sauce. A new dish of Pork medallions with mushrooms on a pasta bed has been brought in to extend the already comprehensive choice of main courses on offer for the discerning diner. Retained, are the complete range of steaks, the famous giant Bosville mixed grill, a wide selection of fish dishes, and good home made vegetarian options.
There will be daily specials, home-made from fresh produce, which is always a feature of dining at the Bosville restaurant.
The restaurant will be open every evening from 7 pm. to 9.30 pm., whilst at lunch time food is served from 12 noon to 2 pm.
On Sundays, the ever-popular lunchtime carvery will continue to have two sittings, at 12 noon and 1.30 pm. Bookings can be made by telephoning 01262-420259.
Well, the ladies of the village have once again shown their winning ways with outstanding success in the Tuesday night Darts and Dominos winter league.
Playing for your village local, the Bosville Arms, they have swept the board with an outstanding SEVEN trophies. They include the charity shield for St. Catherine's Hospice, the Domino knock out shield, the Paul Baker cup and the league runners up cup. Alison Starkey, Alison Arundel and Sue Gillbank were runners up in the trio's trophy, whilst Catherine Hogan and Linda Pollard won the pairs domino
