VILLAGE HALL NEWS

Not a lot to report at the moment but just a quick reminder about the Coffee Morning to be held at Mr. and Mrs. Tony Proctor's home at 10.00 am on 18th March, when the Spring Draw will be made. Hope you have been able to buy your Draw tickets. If you have not yet seen any on sale, please contact Wendy who will be able to put you in touch with someone who has tickets available. They are £1 each and there are some lovely prizes. (If anyone has an item for the food hamper it will be very welcome. Please give to Lorna Moore).

There will be a Cake Stall, Bring and Buy and a Raffle plus your coffee and scones, all for £1.50. Tickets for this are also currently on sale from Committee members. Donations of items for the stalls or prizes will be much appreciated.

We hope you will be able to support the Coffee Morning. Your continued help is essential to allow completion of the refurbishment scheme.

VILLAGE HALL INTRUDERS

I have been asked by some members of the Village Hall Committee to pass on a warning to parents. There have been occasions where children and youths have been entering the Village Hall through where the new extension is being built. They have also been seen climbing up the scaffolding.

This area is a building site, and as such, poses a great risk to children and young people, who are unaware of the dangers, and who may see this as an extension to the playground. Please warn your children to stay away while work is still in progress.
