RUDSTON VILLAGE DAY Sunday July 8th
Preparations are well in hand for this important fund raising event for the Village Hall and Playing Field funds. Please keep this day free to support what should be a very enjoyable date. If you would like to help in any way, please attend the meeting at The Forge on Monday, May 14th at 7.30 pm.
NB. One idea could be to produce a booklet of any unusual or traditional recipes, particularly local ones - even herbal remedies or perhaps gardening tips, etc. handed down in your family. If we could get enough then we could produce a booklet which on my calculations could give a very nice profit which would benefit us all. So get thinking - even you men. Don't let the women have it all their own way! If you have any, please let me have them as soon as possible. Either drop them round at White Cottage or give me a ring. Many thanks - Ed.
