OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD Most of you will have received a leaflet referring to the Shoe Box Appeal. I have been asked to mention that there is always a shortage of a box for teenage boys and girls, and it is always appropriate to include a soft toy for this age group. |

| The
organisers also stressed that each box is treated as an individual
gift, and nothing is added or taken away, except items that could be
damaged in transit i.e. glass bottles.
Thank you in anticipation of a good response from you all. Mrs. Doreen Turner, White Cottage, Eastgate (By the Bridge) Tel 420668 P.S. Closing date must be 8th November |

They join the "A" team who narrowly missed being promoted to the 1st division. The first two teams in the division go up, and the "A" was a very close third. Very well done to all those players who took part. The AGM will be held on Monday 11th October at 7 p.m. in the Village Hall. It will be appreciated if as many members as possible can attend. The Annual Luncheon will be at the Ransdale Hotel, Bridlington on Sunday 28th November. Details will be in the November newsletter. If you have any ideas for this event please let me know.
