Club rules and is responsible for agreeing changes to the rules. k. The Committee shall have the power to suspend or expel any member deemed guilty of conduct prejudicial to the good name of the Club. l. In the event of any Committee member resigning, the Committee shall have the power to fill such vacancies as may arise. m. If a Committee member is unable to attend a meeting, prior notice must be given to the Secretary. n. Any Committee member who does not attend two consecutive Committee meetings, may at the discretion of the Committee be deemed to have resigned o. The Committee have the authority to appoint a President for the Club. Confirmation of the appointment to be an item at the next following AGM.
5. OFFICERS. a. Chairman: Shall chair the meetings of the Management Committee. He or she will be responsible for initiating or assisting as required in the furtherance of the Club. He or she shall have the casting vote when votes counted are evenly split. b. Vice-Chairman: Will act as Chairman during the absence of the Chairman. c. Secretary: Will be responsible for the administration of the Club. Will be responsible for taking of minutes of all Management Committee meetings and the keeping of minutes recorded. Distribute minutes to Committee members. Will be responsible for the maintenance of all Club Policies. d. Treasurer: To be responsible for the accounts and finances of the Club and to keep such bank accounts as required by the Management Committee and to present an audited balance of the accounts at the AGM. To supply to any person having reasonable cause any statement of account as required by the rules of that person's organisation with which the Club is registered. To ensure that the Club is covered by the necessary insurance. e. Youth Club Leader: To be responsible for: organising club activities and programmes, run within the Rules of the Club; ensuring club nights have adequate adult supervision; ensuring adult volunteer helpers understand the Club Rules and Policies and have passed the necessary checks e.g. CRB; advising on training opportunities.
6. ACCOUNTS. a. The management Committee shall cause to be kept accounts of all monies belonging to the Club and such accounts shall be audited annually and presented to the Annual General Meeting of the Club. b. No Officer or member of the Management Committee shall act as
