the former recently, I failed to get one up about a Concert in September.  So, in case the same situation arises in October, here is advance notice of a Show called "Down Memory Lane" (familiar place to some of us!) featuring "Songs from the 1940s and 50s".  It is to be held at the New Rink Social Club in Driffield on Wednesday, 2nd November, at 2 p.m. Tickets cost £4 from E.R.Y.C. Customer Service Centre, Driffield, phone 01377 255556.  Music ranges from Cole Porter and Glenn Miller to Lonnie Donegan, The Everly Brothers and Pat Boone.  Sounds great, but can you get "in the mood" for an afternoon show?

The next parish council meeting is as scheduled in August - on 12th October.

P. Crossland (Clerk)
