I am one of the new Humber and Wolds Rural Community Council Community Development Officers for the LEADER+ project in the Wolds and Coast area of East Yorkshire.

Our job is to support groups in the community that are working or would like to work on projects that develop the local history/heritage or environmental enhancement in their area. (LEADER+ can often offer funding to develop these ideas)

We are setting up a database of all groups or projects that are working on history/heritage or environmental projects. Hopefully then we can contact these groups and see if there is any support that we can give them to achieve their aims.

If you know of any groups/projects that are dealing with the topics mentioned, please could you e-mail me with any details (caroline.coath@hwrcc.org) Also e-mail me if you can think of any projects in this area that you think ought to be considered
