TABLE TENNIS

EVERYONE interested in playing table tennis in the village hall is invited to come to a short meeting on Wednesday 7th September at 7.30pm in the village hall.

The main purpose of the meeting is to find out the best days and times for everyone; how the sessions should be run; what the cost of participating should be; whether some coaching is needed.

This is
YOUR CHANCE to have YOUR SAY on how table tennis should be organised in the village, so please come along and make your views known then we can start playing!

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD - Samaritan's Purse.

Can you believe it is time to be thinking about the Shoe Box Appeal again, where does the time go? I don't know about you but I must be getting old quick.

Many people have already told me that they are busy knitting gloves and hats ready for the boxes.

The same procedure applies as in previous years. I will, in the next few weeks, drop a leaflet through your door giving you details of the sort of items that can be included in the box.

We will then be pleased to receive the boxes at our house and will make sure that they arrive at the depot in time for distribution for Christmas. If, for any reason, you are unable to get the box to our house, please ring us and we will pleased to collect it.

Thank you all very much for your support.
